Meet, Di Wilson!
Di has been attending our weekly women’s coaching sessions. At first, she attended mainly for the social and fitness aspects, but after only a couple of sessions she really found an interest in playing and getting involved. Di also found it was a way of sharing the passion for football with her son, who plays in the CN Sports Under 7 Blues team. Her son is impressed by how Di is starting to fully understand the rules.
Di told us the sessions are great fun! She said, “Everyone who attends is lovely, we all get on and join in even though we all have our own abilities, but the fitness element is as equally important for me. Going forward I hope to get fitter and play in an actual match against another team, and would love to score a goal to make my son proud of me…just like he makes me proud every week with his efforts.”
Well done, Di! Now we just need to educate you on supporting a better team!!
